Booth Tarkington

Booth Tarkington was an American novelist from Indianapolis and one of only four writers to win the Pulitzer Prize for fiction twice, for The Magnificent Ambersons and Alice Adams. He served a term in the Indiana legislature, wrote the Penrod books about a boy's summer, and kept writing after going nearly blind, dictating to a secretary.
