Help & returns.
We publish the books; the shop you bought from holds the receipt. That decides who can help with what, so here is the division plainly.
Where to buy
Every volume is sold as an ebook and carries its own ISBN. The link on each book page opens a list of the shops that carry it, so you can buy from whichever you already use. The price and the currency at checkout are theirs, and may differ from the figure shown here by the day and the country.
Returns
A refund is granted by the shop that took the payment, under its own terms, and usually within a short window after purchase. We cannot refund a purchase we did not receive, and asking us first only costs you time.
A faulty file
That one is ours. If a volume will not open, a plate is missing, a chapter breaks off, or the text has an error in it, write to us with the title and where you bought it. We correct the edition and reissue it, and the shops carry the corrected file.
Reports of errors in the text are welcome even when nothing is broken. They are read by an editor, not a queue.
Reading it
The editions are EPUB, which every current reader and reading app opens. The plates are full page and the type is set to reflow, so a phone, a tablet and an e-ink reader each get a sensible page rather than a photograph of one.
