The life

Daniel P. Thompson was an American lawyer, judge and novelist from Vermont who collected the oral testimony of Green Mountain Boys veterans while they were still alive, and turned it into fiction. The Green Mountain Boys sold some fifty editions and shaped how Vermont remembers its own founding. He also served as the state's secretary of state and edited an antislavery paper.
