The life

Ellis Parker Butler wrote Pigs Is Pigs, a six-page joke about a railway clerk and two guinea pigs that multiplied out of control — it sold in the millions and followed him everywhere. He produced thirty books and two thousand stories from Flushing, New York, presided over the Authors League, and worked as a bank director on the side.
