John Fox, Jr.

John Fox, Jr. was an American novelist who left New York for the Kentucky coalfields, lived among mountain families and wrote the feud country from the inside. The Trail of the Lonesome Pine and The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come were among the first American novels to sell a million copies. He rode with Roosevelt's Rough Riders and reported the Russo-Japanese War.
