Margaret Pedler

Margaret Pedler was an English novelist and trained musician who wrote some thirty romances between the wars, most of them set among country houses and concert halls and turning on a misunderstanding that keeps the lovers apart. Her books sold steadily on both sides of the Atlantic and several were filmed in the silent era. She died in 1948.
