The life

William W. Walter was an American Christian Science writer who put the doctrine into fiction: his novels dramatise illness cured by right thinking rather than medicine, and were sold chiefly to believers. Little of his life is recorded beyond his birth in 1869 and a shelf of teaching stories published from Aurora, Illinois — even his death date seems to have gone unnoted.
