The life

George Marsh was an American writer of northern adventure, setting his novels among the fur posts, dog teams and canoe routes of Hudson Bay and Labrador, country he travelled himself. His stories usually turn on a man, a dog and a winter, and were serialised in the popular magazines through the 1920s and 1930s.
