The life
P. G. Wodehouse was an English humorist who created Jeeves and Wooster and Blandings Castle, and wrote some ninety books and the lyrics to thirty musicals. Interned by the Germans in 1940, he made five broadcasts from Berlin that were taken in Britain as collaboration; he never returned home, becoming an American citizen, and was knighted at ninety-three, six weeks before his death.
